ભારતના આર્થિક વિકાસમાં આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય વેપાર મુખ્ય ભૂમિકા ભજવે છે, જે GDP વૃદ્ધિ, રોજગાર સર્જન અને વિદેશી હૂંડિયામણ કમાણીમાં નોંધપાત્ર ફાળો આપે છે. માહિતી ટેકનોલોજી, ફાર્માસ્યુટિકલ્સ, કૃષિ અને કાપડ જેવા મુખ્ય ક્ષેત્રોમાં તેની શક્તિઓનો ઉપયોગ કરીને, ભારત વૈશ્વિક બજારોમાં એક સ્પર્ધાત્મક ખેલાડી તરીકે ઉભરી આવ્યું છે. સરકારે વેપાર પ્રદર્શનને મજબૂત બનાવવા અને રાષ્ટ્રને વૈશ્વિક અર્થતંત્રમાં વધુ એકીકૃત કરવા માટે "મેક ઇન ઇન્ડિયા" અભિયાન અને નિકાસ પ્રોત્સાહન નીતિઓ જેવી વિવિધ પહેલો અમલમાં મૂકી છે. જો કે, વેપાર અસંતુલન, માળખાગત સુવિધાઓમાં અવરોધો અને વધતી જતી વૈશ્વિક સ્પર્ધા જેવા પડકારો યથાવત્ છે, જેના માટે નવીન નીતિગત પગલાં અને વ્યૂહાત્મક રોકાણોની જરૂર છે. આ અભ્યાસ ભારતના અર્થતંત્ર પર આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય વેપારની અસર પર પ્રકાશ પાડે છે, મુખ્ય ક્ષેત્રોના યોગદાનની તપાસ કરે છે અને વેપાર વધારવાના હેતુથી સરકારી પહેલોની શોધ કરે છે. તે વૈશ્વિક વેપાર ક્ષેત્રમાં ભારત દ્વારા સામનો કરવામાં આવતા પડકારોનો પણ અભ્યાસ કરે છે અને ટકાઉ વિકાસ અને વૈશ્વિક સ્પર્ધાત્મકતા માટે આગળના માર્ગમાં આંતરદૃષ્ટિ પ્રદાન કરે છે.
