Abstract

This paper investigates the impact of gamification and storytelling on reducing mathematics anxiety and increasing student engagement in India. Given the widespread challenge of mathematics anxiety and the need for engaging instructional strategies, this study examines how gamification and storytelling can transform mathematics education. Data from various Indian states illustrate the effectiveness of these approaches. The paper concludes with recommendations for integrating gamification and storytelling into the Indian mathematics curriculum to enhance student outcomes.
