Abstract

The goal of this article is to investigate the expansion of the aluminium industry and forecast aluminium production for the next two decades. In the earth's crust, aluminium is the third most plentiful element. It is never found as a free component. It is a silvery white metal with a wide range of applications in transportation, construction, packaging, electronic manufacturing, and household appliances, among other industries, and as a result, the economic activities of these industries drive the overall demand for aluminium. Hindalco is an integrated manufacturer with a low cost basis and a strong presence across the value chain, ranking among the top five aluminium producers in the world by exports. Extrusions, flat-rolled products, foils, wire rods, billets, and other aluminium downstream items from Hindalco are used in a variety of industries, from autos to packaging and medicines.
