STATUS OF THE DETERMINANTS OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT IN JHARKHAND

Abstract

Skill development is related to the use of modern technologies, innovation, and other vibrant essentials to increase the productivity, capacity or capability of labour, employability, earning and job opportunities. The government of Jharkhand is concerned to increase the level of skill development for solution of the socio-economic problems society. The level of skill development is directly linked with TFR, Nutritional Status Indicators, Education & Literacy related Indicators, Training Infrastructure, The paper analyzes the currents status of these indicators with special reference to the state of Jharkhand and reached to the conclusion that after many initiatives by both the central and state governments there are positive improvements in skill ecosystem. Some determinants are holding positive trends and some are still in negative side for proper skill development in the state of Jharkhand.
