Cloud accounting represents a major technological advancement in the field of finance and accounting. By enabling real-time access to financial data from any location, it allows accountants and organizations to operate with greater flexibility and responsiveness. The automation of routine accounting tasks reduces human errors, enhances accuracy, and allows professionals to focus on strategic and analytical decision-making. Moreover, cloud accounting facilitates seamless collaboration between accountants, clients, and stakeholders, improving service quality and client satisfaction. The advent of cloud computing has transformed accounting practices globally, offering enhanced efficiency, accessibility, and accuracy in financial management. This study aims to explore the perception and adoption of cloud accounting among Chartered Accountants based in Ahmedabad. Using a sample of 120 professionals, the research investigates how CAs perceive cloud accounting in terms of efficiency, accessibility, and error reduction. Additionally, the study examines the relationship between the demographic profiles of Chartered Accountants and their perception toward cloud accounting. Data was collected using structured Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed to derive meaningful insights regarding adoption patterns and attitudes toward cloud-based accounting solutions. The findings indicate a generally positive perception of cloud accounting, highlighting its role in improving professional efficiency and client collaboration.
