Methodology. Observational, prospective, analytical and cross study. Relational level. Comparative design. We constructed instrument type inventory in that 15 criteria were registered to measure and assess methodological quality from a positivist perspective.

The best academic group was "E" with 27.96 ± SE 0.76, whereas the group with minor qualification was "D" with 17.72 ± EE 0.78, nevertheless, analysis post hoc demonstrated that actually three groups exist with different methodological quality.
Conclusions. Attributes as experimental design, probability samples for size and selection, random samplings, managing of categorical and numerical variables processed correctly using specialized software, well interpreted hypotheses test, as well as coherence between aim, results, discussion and conclusions, they allowed to estimate that methodological quality on academic research reports evaluated, it is with major bad frequency.
